In the remote outback, have alcohol supplies ready in advance. You may never know when you need it. Pubs and bars may be closed on social security pay day and often there is no alcohol served.

Outback pubs are the focal meeting point for remote communities and locals and visitors alike love to drink and have a good yarn. Some pubs also act as centres of information, supplies and so on.
