Bendigo

Bendigo is also in the Goldfields region of central Victoria. The arrival of Chinese miners in 1854 had a lasting effect on Bendigo, which still has a rich Chinese heritage. The "Chinese Joss House" is one of the few remaining practising joss houses (Chinese temples) in Victoria.
