Business Opportunity Australia: Brisbane is top business destination

Brisbane is Australias leading business destination and number six worldwide

BRISBANE is ranked among the top 10 of the world´s best destinations for business travel, revealed by the latest survey of The Economist magazine.

Brisbane's Lord Mayor Campbell Newman has welcomed this survey and said the magazine looked at a number of "cost and comfort" factors. "It's a quality publication - they certainly like to get their facts straight," he said.

"To be ranked number six out of 127 cities and, particularly to have beaten Melbourne and and indeed Sydney as cities on this ranking is a great feather in Brisbane's cap."
