Mildura is the regional centre watered by the mighty Murray River. It is one of the riches agricultural areas in Australia and popular for its endless blue skies and sunshine. There are fruit-picking jobs available from January to March and some casual work the year around. You can visit some wineries and the "Mildura Arts Centre".
