An Australia Student Visa holder is entitled to enter and study in Australia for the duration of the course that he/she is enrolled in. Australia Student Visa applications from certain countries must be made offshore.

Student visas 

The Australian Government permits non Australian citizens and permanent residents to study on a Australia Student Visa. However, the following requirements must be strictly met : 

• Enrolment in a registered Australian course (see the CRICOS register)
• Health check and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) 
• Sufficient finance to cover the first year of tuition as well as living expenses 
• English language proficiency
• good character
• Accommodation if under 18 years
