The Lakes District

The Lakes District is the largest inland waterway in Australia, lain in the Gippsland area. There are three main lakes which interconnect: Lake King, Lake Victoria and Lake Wellington. This lakes actually shallow lagoons, separated from the ocean by the "Ninety Mile Beach", a narrow strip of sand dunes.
